MEET DR. MOST

Dr. Michael Most graduated in 1992 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. He had a successful private family practice before moving to Las Vegas in 2001. He currently has two practices and enjoys performing all facets of dental care. Dr. Most caters to the fearful patient and knows how to put patients at ease. He is open to all suggestions and comments from his patients.

MISSION STATEMENT

Dr. Most's desire is to leave a legacy of public education regarding the importance of good dental health. He encourages open communication within his own practice in order to facilitate trust in a compassionate, comfortable and relaxing environment. The latest technology is also available in promoting awareness of the patients' own health while using the latest advancements to provide more accurate, easier, safer and quicker services.

SERVICES

Dr. Most enjoys delivering a full range of general dental care including cosmetic dentistry (veneers, one-hour bleaching, etc.). Comprehensive services include tooth-colored fillings (including the repair of broken or chipped teeth), crowns, bridges, partials, dentures, root canal therapy, periodontal therapy (gum disease treatment), sports appliances, limited orthodontics (braces) and preventive hygiene (routine cleaning).

Parent’s Guide to Dental Safety

As a parent, you want to keep your child safe -- which is no small task! The good news is that there is a lot you can do to protect your child's mouth, teeth and gums from harm. Infants and Toddlers Little ones fall a lot as they learn to navigate their way in the world, putting them at risk for a broken tooth or a cut or bitten tongue, lip or cheek. To guard your child's dental safety: - Child-proof your home. Do not let your child walk around carrying a bottle or sippy cup; unsteady walkers could injure their teeth or gums during a fall. - Keep any mouthwash (and all other fluids) out of the reach of children. The alcohol content in most mouthwashes can be toxic to small children. - Pick an age-appropriate toothbrush that is the right size for your child's mouth. Do not share your child's toothbrush with anyone else. School Age Kids Accidents from sports and outdoor activities such as skateboarding are common for this age group, as are cavities. To keep your child's dental safety in check: - Make sure your child wears a mouthguard while playing sports. - Consider dental sealants for added protection against dental cavities. - Don't yank loose baby teeth. If a tooth is extremely loose, use a clean damp gauze pad to firmly tug on the tooth. If it doesn't come out right away, leave it alone. Teens Good nutrition and oral hygiene tend to fall by the wayside during the teen years To safeguard your teen's dental safety, talk to your child about the need to: - Use caution with teeth whitening products. Before using any over-the-counter dental products, talk to your dentist to see if whiteners are appropriate for your teen. - Cut back on soda. The sugar in soda can cause dental cavities and the phosphoric acid blocks the absorption of calcium, weakening teeth. Remember, the most effective ways to protect your children’s dental health is to make sure they brush and floss regularly and see a dentist twice a year.

Rachel McDonald is not only an extremely talented singer and songwriter, she’s a woman on a mission: bringing soul back to urban music. As her musical influences are Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Chaka Kahn, Yolanda Adams, and Fergie, she certainly seems to be on course. The R&B artist and her producer Biblical Jones have conceptualized and completed her debut project “The Return of Soul,” a CD/film compilation. She released the first track, “Clenching My Pillow,” August 2009, and there is now a video to accompany it. The full EP was released in November, 2009. McDonald and Jones believe that the music industry has bled the emotion and artistry out of music with corporate interference and marketing practices. Educated at the Maryland Hall School for the Performing Arts, and steeped in the place where many R&B singers obtain their first experience – the church choir, she has already accumulated a laundry list of musical and theatrical experiences. At 18 years old, she has acted in nearly a dozen plays and almost as many vocal showcases and dance performances. McDonald has a staggeringly powerful voice and a wide vocal range (soprano, alto and tenor), both of which she aptly displays on “The Return of Soul." Her vocal style can be compared to Alicia Keys and Corinne Bailey Ray, and like them, she very ably conveys with conviction the messages in her music. McDonald has several performances under her belt including NFL 60, the Maryland Education Association’s MLK Breakfast, the Maryland House of Delegates African American Patriots Day, and the House of Blues in Los Angeles. She received the National Society of Arts Award for excellent in the arts in April, 2009. McDonald's musical message is quite clear: we need to get back to basics and put the emotion, the soul back into music. She is a messenger for this cause and wants her debut record to exemplify it. She brings a passion and intensity to R&B music that is long, long overdue and her album echoes that theme. She is nicknamed The Quick Hotness, a Kung Fu term used to describe one who moves so fast, they blaze a path. Rachel McDonald is blazing a path of intensely emotional, soulful music, a path other artists might be wise to follow.

San Francisco-born Audrey Madison Turner attributes her musical inclination to her parents. Art and Georgia Madison surrounded their children with instruments and a wide range of music throughout their childhood. The captivating singer/songwriter, producer and actress began participating in beauty contests and talent shows at an early age, eventually debuting an original song for her graduating class at their commencement ceremony. Following high school Audrey's trek to become a psychologist fell second to her dreams of becoming a star. It wasn't long before Audrey founded "Madison Avenue," which benefitted from contributions from musical genius Stevie Wonder, who wrote songs for the family-based group such as "Buttercup" and "Much In Love." Audrey appeared in various talent search competitions and on numerous talk shows, particularly Playboy Carol Vatalie's Talk show and the "Big Break Talent Search," hosted by Natalie Cole. Additionally, she became the assistant choreographer to Lon Fontaine of Motown, creating routines for major superstars such as Aretha Franklin, the Temptations, and the Pointer Sisters. It wasn't long before Madison-Turner graced the stage with Chuck Berry, Little Richard, BB King and Little Milton, Chaka Khan, and Sting. She was personally requested by the Royal Family of Brunei for two special performances. As she began catching the sights of the industry and public alike, "The King of Rock & Roll" - Ike Turner - took an unabashed liking to Audrey. After meeting Ike Turner through a mutual friend, Madison-Turner didn't think twice about sharing the stage and going on tour with the man himself. Their professional relationship eventually segued into a romantic one, leading to a wedding years later. Ike and Audrey recorded multiple tracks together on his Live Montreaux Jazz Festival CD and Ike Turner's Final CD before his historic passing in December 2007. She is currently writing a book about the last years of their life together. Audrey Madison-Turner will soon release her first solo album, appropriately titled Picking Up The Pieces. Empowered by her sexuality, the R&B sex-symbol's vocals have a haunting passion and her looks are reminiscent of a young Tina Turner.
